Risk Disclosure

Trading carries risk. Even simulated trading carries the risk that you spend money on an evaluation and don't pass.

Simulated trading is not real-money trading

Opus Funded accounts execute against live market data but no real customer capital is deployed. The dollar P&L figures shown in your dashboard reflect simulated outcomes only. They are not indicative of what you would earn or lose trading the same strategy with real money.

Most evaluations fail

Industry-wide, fewer than 15% of evaluation purchases convert to a funded account. Opus is no exception. Most traders who buy an evaluation will lose their evaluation fee without producing a payout. Buy only what you can afford to lose.

Leverage amplifies losses

Crypto evaluations cap leverage at 3:1 on BTC/ETH and 1:1 on alts. Forex evaluations cap at 30:1 on majors, 10:1 on metals, 5:1 on indices, and 10:1 on energy. Even within these caps, a single mis-sized trade can breach the 3% daily-loss limit and blow your account. Size positions deliberately.

Past performance is not indicative

Testimonials, leaderboards, and historical performance shown on this site or any related media represent specific traders' results in specific market conditions. They are not a guarantee or projection of what any other trader will achieve.

Market data and feed risk

Opus uses third-party market data providers. Outages, latency, and price-feed gaps can occur. Trades executed during such events are still subject to evaluation rules; we do not retroactively reverse rule-breach decisions absent a clear provider-side failure documented by the vendor.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site, in our blog, or in support communications constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Trading decisions are entirely yours. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on anything you read here.
